Summary

Welcome to the very first episode of a whole new season, and even more voices from the humble city of Southampton. I was super excited for this one - not only because I found out Deb is a family friend from when I was a kid, but also because she and her partner are diving down a really unique and interesting creative avenue! In this conversation Deb shares her own experiences with death - both as a palliative care nurse, and through the unexpected loss of her own parents unexpectedly - ultimately leading to the birth of local event, 'Dead Good Days'. I loved approaching a 'taboo' topic - it really does make you question your parallels and internal associations with what's "creative". Whether you're young or later in life, it's never too early to consider the inevitably reality that, you will, one day, die. Tune in as we dive into the way we can continue to be, or even become creative through death!
